What we will cover
This workshop is very hands-on and practical giving participants plenty of opportunities to practice techniques to create engaging social media content. During the day, we will build on various patient engagement and marketing concepts and will put these into practice through a range of activities that help participants to explore their own creativity. The only tools required are a smartphone, tablet or a laptop and a willingness to learn as we explore the creative potential in your practice. We will provide all other materials.
The workshop will cover the following:
- Getting started with social media
- Creating a brand identity through images and text
- An introduction to social media marketing
- Using images and words to tell a story
- Planning a social media calendar/publishing schedule
- Creating engaging social media content
- Responding to feedback on social media
- Measuring results
We think it is important that learning from a workshop is implemented soon after so immediately following the workshop, we will spend time with someone from your team who will be the nominated ‘workshop champion’. We will provide them with additional material to help them to support and encourage team members to keep exploring their creativity.
Following this, we will meet with the practice owner or principle to review the feedback from the workshop and to suggest some next steps to help enable the team to keep producing engaging social media content and in doing so, developing the marketing potential of the practice.
