Attracting and recruiting orthodontic staff

Having a thorough and robust recruitment process is essential if you want to employ people who will enhance the development of your practice. Working with you and your key team members, we will help you to develop a comprehensive recruitment model that can be deployed each time you want to recruit a new member to your team. We will identify the key skills and behaviours you are looking to attract and will devise a process that helps you to identify those most likely to enhance your existing team. During our time with you, we will work with you to develop some assessment tools, including role-play activities, that can be used to determine the ideal candidate. If you would like us to help you with the shortlisting and interviews, we would be delighted to support you with this too.

We could all do with some help from time to time and our mentoring service is available for those who need occasional access to our support to talk through issues and to find solutions to challenges faced. Mentoring can be provided to any member of your team and is a completely confidential service that focusses on the issues they wish to raise. We can support staff as they go through a period of change brought about by a new role, new team members who may be acting in a supervisory, management or leadership capacity for the first time or those facing difficulties that stretch the resources available within the practice. For those team members experiencing performance issues, mentoring is a tool that can support both the individual and the practice alongside any HR process already employed.

Cost £350 plus VAT per month (minimum 3 months)

Staff development

Learning should be engaging, impactful and fun and we run a number of in-practice workshops aimed at developing a diverse range of skills that help your team to better engage with patients or to contribute to other aspects of practice development.
